Joe's Obituary
Joe Hughey Traynham Jr. Age 64, passed away on September 22nd at Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation in Douglas, Mi with his children by his side. Joe was born on January 25th 1959 in Baton Rouge Louisiana to Joe Sr. and Margaret Fowler Traynham.
Joe has been cremated per his wishes and a celebration of life is to be determined. The family requests any donations be sent to the Alzheimers association to fight Alzheimers and dementia.
He was blessed to be the oldest of 1 brother and 4 sisters. As a child his family moved to Whichita Falls Texas where he later graduated from Whichita Falls highschool in 1977. Fate found him later on to move to Michigan where he fell in love with the state and its beauty. Getting a job at a factory he eventually met and married Patricia Hoffmeyer of Onaway from 1995-2010. The two had a daughter and a son together.
Joe was well known to be smart and hard working with a witty and goofy personality. His children and family were everything to him, as well as his faith in Christ. Joe loved being outdoors with his kids Fishing, camping, and going on bike rides. He would be the first one to start dancing and singing when a song came on the radio and he loved to make people laugh.
Surviving by Joe are his daughter Tiffany Traynham, spouse Devon Shumaker. His son Joe Traynham III. Spouse Marissa Traynham. Grandchildren , Isaac Shumaker. Siblings: Pamela Ciuba, spouse Greg of Whichita Falls, Tx. Virginia Parsons, spouse Larry of Abilene, Tx. James Traynham, spouse Kamela of North Carolina. Kellie Armstrong of Tx. Margaret Traynham Sutton of Whichita Falls, Tx. He was proceeded in death by his father Joe Traynham Sr. and mother Margaret Fowler Traynham.
