Enjoyed the time I had with Joyce doing her hair. She was such a lovely strong Christian woman. I loved sharing our faith and hearing her stories about her family and raising her children along with her trips she took with Lawrence. So thankful and blessed to have known her. What a special lady.

Joyce and Lawrence were marriage mentors to Don and I. Their godly example helped us start our marriage on a strong footing. They taught us many practical things! And they adopted our family as if it was their own. We spent many Thanksgiving weekends with them. It is hard to say goodbye to a friend of 58 years, but I know we will meet again!

I picture the Joe Knoll family together again with Christ our savior and Lord. What a joyful celebration.

I loved going to "Grandma" Joyce and "Grandpa" Lawrence's house with my Grandma and Grandpa Wickens. They would always read me the same book that I loved, "I like to run, I like to sing, but most of all I love to swing!" They are both missed.
