Julius N. Turk, 56, of Mount Prospect, IL, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, IL.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Temple Beth-EL Cemetery in Benton Harbor, MI, officiated by Rabbi Nelson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Friends wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Julius was born on May 21, 1965, in Des Plaines, IL., to Les & Becky (Sax) Turk. He was a graduate from Lakeshore High School and was a member of Lakeshore Band. He continued his education by attending, the former Ferris College. He participated in Jazz Band and earned two Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science. He was the last class to graduate from Ferris College before it became Ferris State University. Julius went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Computer Science as the first class from Ferris State University. After college, he worked at Ace Computer Company for 26 years where he sold computers and equipment to the United States Military and Education. Julius was a very valuable member of their team and will be missed dearly by his family, friends and team members.
Julius is survived by his parents, Les & Becky Turk of Stevensville, MI; brother, Mike (Eileen) Turk of Stevensville; and two nieces, Samantha and Brianna.
