June Marie DeMaio, 83, of Decatur, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
June was born July 27, 1938 in Milford, CT to Elmer and Dorothy (Hoff) Cox. June moved to Decatur, MI and was well known in the community. But she will be best remembered by her family for her love of the New York Yankees. No matter where she travelled, she could always find a way to listen to the games.
June is survived by her daughters, Katrina (Michael) Lucadamo, and Ruby (Michael) Pacheco; her grandchildren, Brittany LaMothe, Michelle Pacheco, and Aubrey (Robert) Allen; her great grandchildren, Emmett, Bodhi, and Avy; and her beloved Decatur family, Dawn (Richard) Maes, Jesse Tolles Maes, Alisia (Jacob) Scheiler, Leeonzo Maes, Andrew Maes, Azucena Scheiler, Leticia Scheiler, Angelo Scheiler, Cecelia Scheiler, Sophia Scheiler, and Lila Tolles Maes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings.
A private inurnment will take place at Milford Cemetery, Milford, CT at a later date.
