Kathy's Obituary
Kathy Lynn Burdick (nee Jones) passed away on March 2, 2025 at her home in Naples, FL.
Kathy was born on October 24, 1965, in St. Joseph, MI to parents Donald and Diane Jones. The youngest of four, Kathy and her beautiful blue eyes brought a smile to every room. In 1994, Kathy married Steven Burdick.
Kathy worked for a number of companies as a human resource professional. She spent over ten years working with great friends at Honor Credit Union.
She enjoyed listening to live music, attending plays, and traveling the world to experience life.
A memorial service will be held at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085 on Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 am, with a visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Friends wishing to honor Kathy’s memory may contribute to either Moffitt Cancer Center, the Humane Society of Naples, FL or the St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Diane Jones; husband, Steve; sisters, Debi Strain (Tim), Gerri Hercik (Joey); sister-in-law Ruth Jones; nieces, Jill Svoboda (Dan), Lena Jones (Jerry Balms), Jesse Jones (Chelsea), Christopher Krall, and Danielle Lardizabal (Anthony). Kathy was a doting aunt to her many great nieces and nephews, often taking them to Chicago for adventures.
Her father, Donald Jones and brother, Kelly Jones, preceded her in death.
