Keith's Obituary
Keith I. Dingler, 90, a lifelong resident of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday evening, December 22, 2025, at Corewell Lakeland Hospital in Saint Joseph, MI.
He was born on July 12, 1935, in Dowagiac, one of three sons to Loyal and Doris (Dodd) Dingler. On July 28, 1957, Keith was married to Sharon Y. Cox, who preceded him in death on April 2, 1983. On September 22, 1984, Keith married Sue (McKinley) Stovern.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Sue Dingler; five children, Desiree Hullinger, Bryan Dingler, Scott Stovern, Eric Stovern and Paul Diaz; fourteen grandchildren, Bradley Hullinger, LeAna Hullinger, Janaleigh Eaton, Breanna Hullinger, Cameron McCann, Lily McCann, Taylor (Jason) Krugler, Brittney (Duane) Davis, Tasia (Brandon) Roberts, Nathan Stovern, Laurie Davis, Sarah Stovern, Jack Stovern and Leah Hodder; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Geoffery (Carol) Dingler; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Sharon Dingler; daughter, Darla Diaz; parents; and brother, Daniel Dingler.
A service to celebrate Keith’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, MI where friends may visit with his family from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Private inurnment will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cass County Cancer Services.
