Leah's Obituary
Leah Rose Bennison, 91, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Plainwell, MI. She was born October 27, 1930 in Decatur to William and Edith (Huffman) Kaplan.
Leah was married to the late Gordon Bennison. She was also the co-owner of Kaplan’s Store in Decatur.
Leah is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Bennison; her son, Marc Bennison; her sisters, May Kaplan and Sylvia Kaplan. She is survived by one niece.
An inurnment will be held privately at Lakeside Cemetery in Decatur.
