Lee's Obituary
Peacefully surrounded by those he loved Lee Roy Wagner, age 76 passed away August 11th 2025 at home in South Haven, Michigan.
Lee Roy is survived by his wife Dorothy and their two children Lee Roy Jr. (Ashley) Wagner and Delores (Bradley) Roberts along with 5 Grandkids. Devon Wagner, Haley Washington, Kayanna Stanfill, Bradey Roberts, and Brianna Roberts. Lee Roy was blessed with 5 Great Grandkids Kamryah Craft, Ze'Havion Washington, Ze'Hon Smart, Ze'kai Lake & Mekaila Wagner.
His journey began in Clarksdale, Mississippi however life ended up bringing him to Michigan. He met his wife Dorothy and eventually settled down in Bangor, Michigan with their two children Lee Roy Jr. and Delores. Inspired by their fathers hard work and dedication Lee Roy Jr. proudly served in the Armed forces while Delores chose a career in the medical field dedicating their lives to helping others, a quality shared by both of the children.
Lee Roy will be remembered by his quick wit and resilient attitude. Most importantly his life lessons he loved passing down to the next generations. All of the while casting a line out at his favorite fishing spots. Lee Roy will be greatly missed but his legacy inspires us all to live a life full of love, laughter and faith in God. Though he is gone, his smile remains as a testament to the life he lived and the joy he shared.
A Memorial Service for Lee Roy will be held at Family Gospel Chapel at 320 Division St. Bangor, Michigan on Saturday August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
