Leroy's Obituary
Leroy Edward Tefs, age 79, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. He was born on February 12, 1943, to Reinhold and Lillian (Roy) Tefs in St. Joseph.
A Funeral Service for Leroy will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm at The Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Visitation with Leroy’s family will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery following the services.
He was a man of many talents and if you were in need he was there to help. He was a true outdoorsman and loved being in nature.
Leroy is survived by his sons; Timothy Tefs, Terry (Amy) Tefs; grandchildren, Ashley Tefs, Jordan Tefs, Ethan Tefs; brother Russell (Dixie) Tefs; nieces and nephew, Dawn Everett, Susan Tefs, Dustin Tefs, Mike Companion, Melissa Gleason; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Judy Companion, and Jean Simmons.
