Lois Kerr, 87, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Brentwood Assisted Living in Niles.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 24, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Tom Bird officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Monday at the Funeral Home. In consideration of everyone’s health, please wear a mask for both the visitation & service. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Lois was born January 5, 1935 in Benton Harbor, MI to William & Marvel (Neidlinger) Miller. On June 20, 1953 she married Stewart Kerr in Benton Harbor. Lois worked for Heath Zenith for over 25 years. Lois enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and concerts. She also loved line dancing, bird watching and going to country concerts and fairs.
Lois is survived by her daughter Tamara Lynn Kerr (Dennis Finehout); two grandchildren Devon Watkins and David Watkins; brother Bill Miller Jr.; sister Joyce McCollum and sister-in-law Shirley Schadler.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents and husband and brothers Richard Miller and John Miller.
