Lyn's Obituary
Marion “Lyn” Harris joined his beloved wife Cathy, in the early morning hours of June 6, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1942 in Allegan, Michigan to Lawrence and Barbara Harris.
Lyn and Cathy were married on December 29, 1962, and enjoyed 49 years together before her passing in early 2012. Together they raised two sons, Greg (Kim) Harris and Scott (Jess) Harris. Each son blessed them with a granddaughter, Brandi (Adam) Matthews and Roxi Harris. Brandi and Adam then gave him his first, precious great-granddaughter, Ava. In later years Lyn was blessed with three bonus grandkids and three bonus great-granddaughters that lit up his world.
In his younger years, Lyn enjoyed working on cars and fishing. As he got older, he became an avid reader. In the warm months you could find him outside with his beloved family dog, Benji or with Ollie the cat, riding on his walker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Congregational Church in South Haven from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor David Frey officiating.
