Mark Alan “Fuzzy” Krieger, 67, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on August 13, 1958, in St. Joseph, Michigan, Mark was the son of the late Darwin and Peggy Krieger. He dedicated more than 25 years to construction work at nuclear facilities around the world, spending the majority of his career at the D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant.
Outside of work, Mark lived life to the fullest. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time in the Florida Keys, tending his garden, and always had music playing wherever he was. His adventurous spirit and easygoing nature earned him the nickname “Fuzzy,” a name known and loved by many.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Kami (Bryce) Ponegalek; his sister, Katie (Tim) Lemon; his niece, Megan (David) DeKoster; and his great nieces, Emma DeKoster, Aubrey DeKoster, and Gianna DeKoster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Peggy Krieger.
