Mark's Obituary
Mark Henry Trulove, 69, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Corewell Health Lakeland. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 11AM at Twelve Corners General Baptist Church, 3207 East Euclid Ave., Benton Harbor, MI. Mark was born July 1, 1956, in Benton Harbor, MI, to George W. and Lila I. (Wickenhiser) Trulove. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1974 and continued his studies at Lake Michigan College, where he earned an associate degree.
On April 22, 1978, Mark married the love of his life, Diane Cox, in Benton Harbor. He built a long career as a tool-and-die maker with New Products in Benton Harbor, where he was respected for his craftsmanship and dependable work ethic.
An avid outdoorsman, Mark enjoyed hunting, camping, and kayaking, and he took great pride in caring for his yard. He was a devoted fan of Notre Dame and loved playing baseball for many years. Though a man of few words, Mark was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Diane; daughter, Amanda Trulove of Benton Harbor; granddaughter, Madison Kirksey; brother, Mike (Jean) Trulove; niece, Jackie (Kyle) Huley; nephews, Kenneth (Angie) Cox, Ryan (Rachel) McNerney, and Sean (Kristy) McNerney; favorite sister-in-law, Pam (Mike) McNerney; brother-in-law, David (Lisa) Cox; and best friend/hunting partner, Brian Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Lila; and brother, Allen Trulove.
