Martha's Obituary
Martha Mary (Stelzer) Wilcox passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 9th.
Martha was the youngest child of George and Jean Stelzer. She was born on February 8, 1953 in St Joseph, MI. She grew up in St Joseph and graduated from St Joseph High School in 1971.
After high school Martha worked at Williams Jewelers. From there she went on to work in the Mortgage Department at Farmers and Merchants Bank. She also worked many years at Heath/Zenith Company and eventually retired in 2009 from the Collections Department at Whirlpool.
Martha is preceded in death by both of her parents, her sisters Joan Wolfe and Linda DeMorrow, and her brother Bill Stelzer. Also her 2 favorite Beagles, Candie and Peaches.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Philip Wilcox, his daughter Jessica Rogalski (Todd), and her sons Phillip "PG" Langer (Connie), Elliott Wilcox (Katie) and Jordan Wilcox (Melissa). She is also survived by her sister Gretchen (Stelzer) Klyczek (Jerry), 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made through Starks Funeral Home to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital or T2T (Tunnels to towers) for support of fallen heroes in the military or line of public duty. Those wishing to share a memory of Martha online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
