Mary's Obituary
Mary I. Vincent, aka “Scarecrow Queen” or the “Pretzel & Fudge Gal”, 89, of Niles-Buchanan, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Memorial Hospital South Bend.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI. There will also be an hour for friends from 9:30-10:30 on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, also at the funeral home with a private family ceremony following.
In celebrating Mary’s life, please feel comfortable dressing colorfully. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Buchanan Senior Center.

Mary is survived by her eight children & spouses (one daughter & seven sons), fourteen grandchildren & spouses, nine great-grandchildren with one on the way, two brothers and two sisters.
