Michael's Obituary
Michael W. Hall, 77, of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2025, at Hubbard Hill Retirement Community in Elkhart.
Mike was born on May 18, 1948, in Niles, MI, the son of the late William and Eleanor (Reum) Hall. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving almost 3 years during the Vietnam Conflict. On December 14, 1973, Mike was united in marriage to Joyce Phillips in Dowagiac, MI. He was known for his dry sense of humor and will be missed my many. Mike was an avid sports fan and devoted supporter of the Chicago Cubs.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Joyce Hall; four children, Nichelle Mitchell, Christopher (Sherri) Weber, Cheryl (Jason) Gibson, and Karen (Sean) Leonard; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy (Reg) Bellaire, William Hall, and Ann Hall; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a granddaughter, a great-grandson, and infant brother, Jerry Hall.
A service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center St, Dowagiac, MI. Chaplain Tim Henke will officiate.
