Patricia “Patti” Graf, 81, of LaPorte, IN, formerly of New Buffalo, MI, passed away at the Franciscan Health Center in Michigan City, IN, on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Patti was born on Sept. 22, 1940 in Lindsay, CA to the late Herman and Dorothy (Watkins) Baldridge. On June 25, 1960 she married Richard Graf; he preceded her in death on July 25, 2016. Together they loved to winter in Florida; Patti loved to crochet, knit and read, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaPorte, IN.
Patti is survived by her three sons – Michael (Renee) Graf of Chesterton, IN, Daniel (Diann) Graf of Novi, MI, and David (Cindy) Graf of Granger, IN; grandchildren – Eric, Amelia, Alysa (Eric), Spencer and Carter; a sister – Yvonne (Ed) Homolka of New Buffalo, MI; niece – Maggie (Tom) Hayes; and a nephew – Adam (Shelley) Homolka.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 11:00am-Central Time, at the First United Methodist Church – 1225 Michigan Ave., LaPorte, IN, with Pastor Steve Walker officiating. Visitation with the family precedes the service from 10:00-11:00am-Central Time at the church. The family will have private committal services at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or to St. Jude’s. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.sommerfeldchapel.com
