Patsy's Obituary
Beloved wife , sister, mother and grand mother.
Pat was born to Jason (Jake) and Thelma Bennett.( both deceased). She was the eldest of 5 children. Brenda ( Bennett) Staples, Sherri ( Bennett) Huls, Kathy (Bennett) Rinks, and Dennis Bennett (deceased).
Pat had 6 children. Steven Roberts (deceased) Mark Roberts, Phillip Roberts, Scott Roberts(deceased), Andrea (Roberts) Craft, and Jason Kaehn. She had 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pat married Dennis VanAntwerp in 1986 and made their home in Berrien Springs.
Pat worked various jobs through her lifetime but retired from the Berrien County Courthouse. After retirement Pat and Dennis liked to go camping, travel to see the country and visit friends and family, but would always return to the home they made in Berrien Springs.
Pat was a stubborn but big hearted woman. When she was able, she would work at her church's food bank, bake for the church Christmas concert, and donated gifts for children who would not otherwise have a Christmas.
She taught all of her kids the basic necessities to be independent adults, but never taught us how to live without her in our lives.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
