Patty's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patty Jean Pierson aged 73 on September 14th, 2023.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6th at Filbrandt Chapel in South Haven, MI. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by services at 11:00am. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. There will be a gathering from 12-3pm at the Moose Lodge located at 1025 East Wells St., South Haven, MI. Food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
Patty was born on May 21st, 1950 in South Haven, MI to Orvel and Helen Musser. She was a beloved spouse, mother, and grandmother and touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her compassion, generosity, humor, strength of character, sage advice, and always giving the best hugs. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, crocheting anything from hats to slippers, and of course afghans, reading, and long scenic drives.
Patty Pierson is survived by sister Olive Clemmens, daughter Shannon Pierson (Jennifer), son Orvel Pierson (Julie), granddaughter Catherine Crosby (Tyler), grandsons Alaric Pierson and Logan Pierson, and loyal furry companion of 14 years Ms. Bandito. She was preceded in death by husband Patrick Pierson, father Orvel Musser, mother Helen Musser, brother George Musser, and sisters Mary Johnson and Rose Stennett.
Patty’s departure leaves an emptiness in our hearts and lives, but her memory will live on forever. We find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace and together forever with the love of her life Pat.
Rest in peace, dear Patty. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
