Robert's Obituary

Robert G. Lozmack, 75, of Galien, died Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Bob was born on November 26, 1950, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the only child of Robert C. and Kathleen (Howard) Lozmack, who preceded him in death. He attended Galien high School and graduated in 1968. While in school Bob played football and was the senior class president. It was here that he met his wife Barb Heckathorn and got married in 1972. After graduation, Bob attended Sams Technical School in Indianapolis where he majored in architecture. Bob and Barb established their home in Galien, and it was here that they raised their 3 children. Their summers were spent camping with their friends and hosting many picnics at their home. Bob was a past president of the Galien High School Board, member of the Sons of the Galien American Legion, and a volunteer fireman for the Galien Fire Department for 27 years.

Professionally, Bob dedicated many years to Sullair Corporation in Michigan City, Indiana, retiring in 2002. In his retirement he founded Blossomland Toy Tractor Sales which was his passion. He attended many farm shows, set up at the Berrien County Fair, and opened a store in his home. He is known far and wide throughout many states for his knowledge of anything to do with farm toys.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barb; sons, Jason (Cassie) Lozmack of Hudsonville, MI., Andy of Galien; and his daughter, Jamie (Elizabeth) Lozmack of Long Beach, California. Bob is also survived by his grandsons, Bryson, Wyatt, Colton; and granddaughter, Caitlyn McGrew.

Visitation for Bob will be held from 3-7 pm, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 am on Thursday, February 5, 2026, also at Swem Chapel, Buchanan. Interment will follow at Galien Cemetery.
