Bob's Obituary
Robert Lee "Bobby" Friske, 65, of Dowagiac passed away on Sunday March 19th, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born September 16, 1957, in Dowagiac to David Friske and Barbara (Krager) Morgan. He attended Dowagiac High School, then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. On September 8, 1979 he married the love of his life, Deborah Simpson. Bob worked for SPX Contech for 32 years then Autocam until his retirement. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, and fishing, and going on many charted fishing trips, most of all he loved his family and friends. His family will remember him for his sense of humor and quick wit. He will be greatly missed by all.
He survived by his wife of 43 years Deborah Friske; son, Benjamin Lee Friske; granddaughter, Chole Elizabeth Friske; father, David Friske; mother, Barbara (Krager) Morgan; siblings, Kimberly Tanzillo, Dennis (Stacy) Morgan and Pamela Morgan; sister-in-law, Sandra (Dale) Bruens; and many nieces and nephews and cousins, including Stephen and Debbie Morgan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 11:00AM, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac, with Pastor Doug Cuthbert officiating. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the Cass County Cancer Service.
