Ronald's Obituary

Ronald A. Pallas, 74, of Stevensville, passed away, Sunday, November 30, 2025 at his home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Ron was born September 5, 1951 in St. Joseph to Harvey & Phyllis Pallas. He graduated from Lakeshore High School, Class of 1969. Ron was a talented man when it came to mechanics & building skills. He was self-employed for most of his career working on cars, building pole barns, remodeling and even building a few houses. On November 3, 2001, he married Eileen O’Brien in Laporte, Indiana. When he was not working, Ron could be found bowling in several leagues, playing a round of golf, hunting, rooting for the University of Michigan, or his favorite--fishing on Lake Michigan, either privately or providing a charter service. His final resting place for his ashes will be his favorite spot on Lake Michigan.

Ron is survived by his wife Eileen O’Brien-Pallas; his children-Regan Pallas of Ferndale, MI, Jason Pallas of Jacksonville, FL, Craig (Jenifer) Pallas of Mason, MI, John (Renate) Heyn of St. Charles, MO, Eric Heyn of Little Rock, AR, Jessica Montoya of Fort Smith, AR; ten grandchildren-Kannen & Makenzie Pallas, Morgan & Wyatt Wagner, Cassandra, Danielle & Dylan Heyn, Michael & Richard Chioco, Angela Montoya; his siblings-Sharon Geisler & Harv Pallas, both of Stevensville; numerous nieces & nephews; and numerous members of Eileen’s family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Pallas, and his brother-in-law Donald Geisler.

Ron ashes will be laid to rest at his favorite fishing spot on Lake Michigan.
