Ronald was born on January 22, 1933, in Eau Claire to Rolla William and Mildred (DeWitt) Keigley. He graduated from Eau Claire High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army in Korea from 1954 until 1955.

On April 28, 1956, Ronald married the love of his life, Evelyn Froehlich, in Sodus. Together they built a life rooted in Christ, centered on family, and sustained by hard work and deep devotion to one another.

Along with his brother Victor, Ron was a co-owner of Red Hen Turf Farms for many years, retiring at the young age of 50. Never one to sit still, he continued sharing his knowledge and passion for the land as a Turf Consultant at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course.

Raised on the family farm on Keigley Road, he developed a strong work ethic and a love of the outdoors. He found great joy in fishing, golfing, and traveling the world. Their happiest moments were surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ronald was a devoted, long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. His Korean service remained close to his heart, and in later years he was active in the Papasan-Mamasan Korean Support Group in Berrien County.

Ronald will be remembered as a humble and hardworking man of faith — devoted to his Lord, steadfast in his love for family, and generous in service to others. He was known for his practical wisdom and the quiet strength that anchored his family for generations.

Ronald is survived by his children, Christine (Lawrence) Dow, Kathleen (John) Jasper, Keith (Tonya) Keigley; grandchildren, Lindsay (Michael) Wipperman, Stacy (Rob) White, Matthew (Bobilyn) Jasper, Michael (Jessica) Jasper, Kasey (Danielle) Keigley, Jessica (Jon) Hanson; great-grandchildren, Alaina and Troy Wipperman, Davis and Dylan White, Holland Jasper, Gatlan Jasper, Brady, Ashton and Owen Keigley, Collins and Bryn Hanson.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings Lester Keigley, Victor Keigley and Betty Fandrick.
