I was lucky enough to stay in Mrs. Capizzo’s beautiful condo in Florida with Mary, Meb and BJ and Mrs. Capizzo and I went to the Breakers Hotel for lunch. They had all you could eat shrimp and she couldn’t believe how much shrimp I could eat! She laughed and laughed.
I’ll never forget our funny chats on the phone and will always admire how active she stayed throughout her life. I will miss her very much and always cherish our memories.
My thoughts are with Mary, Nancy, Ferol, Vic and the whole Capizzo family during this time ❤️🩹

Mrs. Capizzo was my kindergarten teacher at Pier School in 1973. I always told her she was my favorite teacher and that was my favorite year of school! I remembered her having kindness and joy in the classroom and I enjoyed keeping in touch with her over the years. In her letters, she always sounded upbeat and interested in life. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. May the Lord comfort you.

We were so sad to hear about Roe’s passing. She always brought so much joy to those around her. Roe was so warm and kind to everyone. When she started to use the assistance of the walker I always thought we should decorate it with lights, a bell and whatever other decorations we could find to brighten it up. Our condolences to her family and to everyone saddened by her loss. With love Anne and the entire Caffe Tosi staff.

Aunt Roe was a pillar of family, faith and traditions. Our family was blessed to have her in our life. Whether it be laughing about the good old days, sharing a meal or just getting updated on the busy lives of her ever growing family, it was always pure joy to be with her. We will treasure those memories and are comforted she is at peace with Uncle Vito after fulfilling a wonderful life on this earth.

Aunt Ro and her family was always a part of our family growing up, she and Vito stood up as godparents for two of my siblings. Ro was loving, gentle, always had a kind word for us. While I have not seen her nor family in many years, she left warm and great memories for me as I see for others as well. God has welcomed her home and I wish peace to the families as she will be missed. My condolences to all of you.

So thankful I got to spend time with your beautiful Mom this past year. She made me feel special. Will never forget sitting on her lap when she was a substitute kindergarten teacher at Pier school and then was my 5th grade teacher. I will always cherish the memories I have of her. My sincere condolences to all of her family and friends.

Roe was a delight who will always be alive and funny and professional and loving in my mind. She was an infinitely patient teacher of her little ones, but she also mentored other teachers so kindly with bits of wisdom sprinkled through the day. If you met or knew her you were blessed

Mrs. Capizzo was my kindergarten teacher at Coloma Elementary many moons ago. I will forever remember the "warm fuzzy" necklace she used to give her students: a little ball of fuzzy fabric on a strand of yarn. It was a special day when you were rewarded with a warm fuzzy! She made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. My sympathies are with her family members, her friends, and everyone who was blessed to receive a warm fuzzy from her.
