Shane was born on Dec. 19, 1968, in South Bend, Ind., to Morris and Patty Jo (Becht) McIntosh. He graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1987 and continued his education by earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Western Michigan University, an associate’s degree in Theology from Life Christian University, and an associate’s degree in Applied Science from Lake Michigan College.

Shane lived his life devoted to the Lord. For many years, he shared the word of God as the Pastor to Twin Cities Family Church, which was later renamed to The Rock Church. As he stepped back from preaching, Shane would begin working as a consultant for the automobile industry, assisting in sales and training for many businesses around the country. During the last years of his life, Shane was working toward pastoring once again through online lessons. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and golfing. However, what Shane loved the most was spending time with his friends, family, and God.

Shane is survived by his father, Morris McIntosh; children: Caleb McIntosh of Kalamazoo and Rachel (Luke) Golas of Hartford; grandchildren: Harper, Eli, and Becca Golas; and siblings: Jiera, Samuel, and Sasha McIntosh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Jo.
