I had the privilege of being introduced to Shane more than a decade ago through Gerry, and our paths crossed through both challenge and success. Shane was an intense but deeply kind, generous, and devout man, with a sincerity in how he met people and built relationships that was genuine and thoughtful, and which left (and continues to leave) a lasting impression on me.
I was also fortunate to meet members of his family during our time working together. Shane introduced me to his father, Morris, his children, Caleb and Rachel, as well as members of his extended family, all of whom shared a common bond of faith, warmth, and humility that clearly reflected Shane himself.
My sincere condolences to his family and all who loved him

I don’t even know where to begin other than my heart is heavy, even though Shane was my first cousin we were like brothers growing up it’s not everyday that 2 brothers marry 2 sisters. We were together almost daily from our adolescence through high school, we became adults married and had children and grew somewhat apart until the last couple years. We talked on the phone at 5 AM and up until midnight recently and I know he is in the right place now, the pain was sometimes horrific and I was able to spend time with him in the hospital and knowing the man of god he was he was ready to go home and see his momma. The rumors are going to go around as Shane became very private over his medical issues but I would like to say that he has helped so many people along his journey to seek out Christ and his savior so let’s just let the man rest as he has worked tirelessly. His children, grandchildren and family were most important to him and we have peace knowing he is in a better place. Rest in peace my big brother as your legacy will live on and you will forever be in our memories until we meet again, I will keep tabs on your children and you will be deeply missed

Shane McIntosh was my precious friend, my teacher, my business partner, and my ministry partner. A devoted man of God and a man of unwavering integrity, he would do anything to protect his children and those he loved. He was a true warrior of Christ, fighting the good fight until his last breath, with a deep love for Jesus and a passion to lift others up and help them become their best selves.
I will deeply miss our daily conversations, our long talks over coffee, our rounds of golf, and all the plans we shared together.
Though my heart aches, I rest in the truth that God is good. Shane has finished his race and is now in the arms of his Savior (2 Timothy 4:7). One day, by God’s grace, we will reunite.
Shane’s legacy of faith, love, and encouragement lives on. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Rest in peace, my dear Shane. Until we meet again.
