Sharon's Obituary
Sharon Kay Wilson, 67 of South Haven, passed away, Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born on February 24, 1954 in Ridgley, Tennessee to James and Aline Brown.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sharon Massey, Grandchildren; Michael Eldon Massey, Kayla Hardin, Justin Massey, great grandchildren; Michael Lane Massey, Kohnner Greene and Kayden Greene. Also survived by her siblings; Clara Mayo, Venita Reeder, Barbara Tosh, Patricia (Dale) Fitzpatrick, Birdie Farley and Dennis Brown.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Aline, and siblings; Bessie Dicus, Randell Brown, Ralph Brown and Lewis Brown.
Sharon graduated from South Haven High School and then attended South Haven Beauty School, where she graduated as a licensed Cosmetologist. Sharon and her sister Barbara opened their first Salon in Hartford, Michigan. After a few years Sharon moved to Piggott Arkansas and opened a diner that also had a salon attached. The diner was open for breakfast and lunch and after lunch Sharon would cut hair the rest of the day in the salon. She moved back to South Haven in 1995 and in 2000 she became a care giver, opening her own Adult Foster Care Home, which was in operation until she passed away. Sharon was a very hard worker, a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was a creative woman, who loved quilting, interior decorating, and also made lifelike babydolls. Sharon was an excellent cook, but her get away was gardening, she spent lots of time working in her flowerbeds. She had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed.
