Starlyn H. Bolt, 67, a lifelong resident of Dowagiac, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.
She was born on June 25, 1956, in Dowagiac. Star loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and snowmobiling. She also liked playing bingo and playing cards with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years – George Bolt Jr; their son – James (Dianne) Bolt; two brothers – Robbie and Jeffrey Carpenter; sister-in-law – Lorrie Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father – Frederick R. Carpenter; mother – Helen (Albertson) Carpenter; step-parents – Amy and Norman Stickney; and two brothers – Randy and Rick Carpenter.
Friends may visit with Star’s family from 2:00-4:00 PM on Friday, January, 26, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center St, Dowagiac. Those wishing to share a memory of Star online may do so at www.clarkch.com.
