Thomas J. Hamilton, 62, of Buchanan, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2022, at home with his family by his side.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 945 Chippewa St., Buchanan. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 2-3 pm. Private interment will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to the family in care of Sherry. Tom was born on March 1, 1960, to Jesse and Agnes (Dunn) Hamilton in Warsaw, Kentucky. He was raised in Stevensville and attended Lakeshore High School. Professionally, Tom was proud to be a service advisor for Ford for many years. On March 3, 2001, he married the love of his life, Sherry. Tom was a garage sale enthusiast and enjoyed being near the water and appreciating natures beauty going on walks. He lived life to the fullest and brought smiles to those around him with his great sense of humor, and nicknames. Tom loved the Lord and was an active member at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, he was always one of the best dressed at church. Tom cherished time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sherry Hamilton; children, Eric Hamilton, Tyler (Megain) Hamilton, Sr., Scott (Brittany Carnes) Hamilton, Amber (Tony Martin) Bradshaw, Kody (Bonnie) Hauch, Amy Hamilton and Sarah Hamilton and grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton, Brian Hamilton, Stephen Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, Jr., Landon Hamilton, Allison Carnes, Benson Carnes, Noah Bradshaw, Beau Bradshaw, Emeila Martin, Piper Martin, Beckett Martin, Carson Schannick, Avana Schannick, Natalie Hauch, Lincoln Hauch, Ian Turner, Peyton Stevens and Stella Stevens; brothers, Rev. Robert (Theresa) Hamilton, Bill (Christine) Hamilton and sisters, Shirley Ball, Edna Hamilton and Shiela Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Agnes (Dunn) Hamilton; brothers, Richard, Johnny, Jessie, Jr., Anthony, and Wayne Hamilton and sisters, Patricia Berdine, Alma Boles, Roberta Burch and Wanda Berdine.
