Timothy “Tim” Kasun, 68 of Eau Claire, MI passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Tim was born June 29, 1954 in St. Joseph, MI to Robert & Mary (Awdukewich) Kasun. He was the owner and operator of Elite Bar and Grill in Watervliet. Tim loved going for rides on his motorcycle and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, gambling, golfing and bowling.
Tim is survived by his mother Mary Kasun; sons Joseph Kasun and Jeff (Jodi) Kasun; step daughters Amanda Malkin, Jaclyn (Jeremy) Gatchell and Meagan (Rick) Anstiss; 10 grandchildren; brother Bob Kasun; sister Kathy (Dana) Averill; life time friend Pamela Ferguson; and brother-in-law Terry Snow. Tim was preceded in death by his father, wife Penney Kasun and son Daniel Kasun.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Heritage Chapel, 8747 U.S. 31, Berrien Springs with Pastor David Schmidt officiating. In Tim’s honor the family asks if all his biker friends would ride their motorcycles in the procession to Shanghai Memorial Cemetery in Pipestone Twp. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11-noon Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.
