Tim's Obituary
Timothy Lee Flagel, 51, of Round Lake in Sister Lakes, MI, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at his home under the care of his life partner, Kim Teeters. Tim was on the road to recovery following liver transplant surgery, but his Lord and Savior took him home to Heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, August 8, 2022 at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, MI. His uncle, Pastor David Flagel, will be officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Tim was born October 5, 1970 in St. Joseph, MI to Tom and Tina (Maruk) Flagel. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1989 and received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice at KVCC. Tim was a police officer in Benton Township and St. Joseph Township for many years. With his parents, Tim also worked in the growth of Flagel Insulation. Tim enjoyed fishing and boating on Round Lake and loved to host cookouts for family and friends at his lake home. He will be dearly missed by many who enjoyed their time with him boating, tubing, and fishing.
Tim is survived by his life partner, Kim Teeters and her family and grandchildren; his daughter, Delaney Flagel; his father, Tom (Jeanette) Flagel; his sister, Traci (Joe) Haskins; nieces Ashley Lewis and Abby (Mason) Labis; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother Tina (Maruk) Flagel; grandparents Albert & Elizabeth Flagel and Robert & Arlene “Mamur” Meade; and cousin Adam Flagel.
