Velma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her dedication, however, was not just to her family; Velma was an active member of her church community, and a long-time leader in the Girl Scouts organization. Known for her tenacity to fundraise, you could always find Velma out and about asking for company sponsors, donatable gift items, and organizing all the bake sales, food drives, etc. She was the quintessential “go to” for all sales related events. During her free time, Velma loved to travel with her family, especially with her husband, as well as planning little trips for her Girl Scout troop. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.

Velma is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Patrick) Robbins; her grandchildren, Haley Robbins, and Kyle Robbins; her great grandchild, Bradley; and her brothers, David Friske, and Walter Friske, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Morford, whom she married on June 25, 1960; and her parents.
