William “Bud” Upson, 94, of Berrien Springs, MI passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Pine Ridge Nursing Center in Stevensville.
A private burial will be held at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services in Berrien Springs. Those wishing to share a memory of Bud online may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com
Bud was born October 6, 1930 in Baroda, MI to Verna & O’Linda (Fatter) Upson. He graduated from Berrien Spring High School. Bud served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1953. On July 15, 1960 he married the love of his life Rosalie “Rose” Teeter in Niles, MI. Bud worked for Clarks Equipment, the Easy Shop Gas Station in Berrien Springs as well as Eau Claire Lumber in Sale and Delivery. Bud enjoyed fishing, camping and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Bud is survived by his son Donald (Lorrie) Upson; grandchildren Jonathan Upson and Maggie (Josh) Upson-Bullock; great grandchildren Emilia, Jackson, Theodore, and Levi Upson-Bullock.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Peggy Petersen.
