Dear Brockway Family,
I am sorry to read of Dave's death in the newspaper. I had the privilege to work with him at Clark Components in the mid 1980's. I really enjoyed working with him as he was always so positive, hard working and knowledgeable about the company and its products/customers. We also had a lot of fun and I marveled how he traveled the world to find business and customers. I recall one trip when he proudly showed me a picture that he captured in Baroda, India. in 1988 in moved to the
"Clark location in Statesville, NC and then, a year later to Fargo, ND to work at Bobcat. it was always fun to return to my parents home on Ruggles Road and run in to Dave. He continued to be so fun and full of life and whatever he did, he was all in. Well, I am soon to move back to Ruggles Road to assist my aging mother and it will not be the same to drive b the Brockway horse farm and know that Dave is no longer with us.
May God bless all of you as you celebrate Dave's life this week. I know he was very proud of his family and I am sure he would want you to celebrate with passion and love. I wish you all the best, Chuck Hoge

Dear Family,
i was sorry to learn of Dave's death form the newspaper. I worked with Dave at Clark Components Company in the early 1980's. he had such a passion for his work and for life. He was always so kind to me. I appreciated that and am grateful for that. i recall on one of his trips to India, he visited the city of Baroda, India. With his Baroda connections, he got quite a kick out of that. I moved to North Dakota about the time Dave retired. while i didn't see him much on my return visits to Baroda, i always got a good update on my Uncle Elmer's Mill in Baroda and on other relatives that he met through the Blossomtime activities.
May God bless all of you as you reflect on Dave's life and the many memories that you have of him and his beloved Anne. Happy thanksgiving and God's blessings on your family.
