Emily's Obituary

Emily S. Miller, 75, of Stevensville, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at her home surrounded by her children. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 10:30AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 Church St., St. Joseph with Very Rev. Robert Creagan & Msgr. Eugene Sears officiating. Emily will then be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Those wishing to leave a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Emily was born on November 28, 1942, to Joseph & Frances (Grande) Geary in Chicago, IL. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School. She worked as a secretary for Cook Nuclear Plant. Emily was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was known for her beautiful soul, sense of humor and selflessness. Emily’s most enjoyed moments were having “club” with her girlfriends, taking her kids to the beach, playing tennis and hosting family gatherings. Emily was the heart and soul of her family, a champion of each one of us. Emily is survived by her children, George “Dozer” Miller, Julie Pascua, Michael (Becky) Miller, DeeDee Jackson, Lisa Halliday, Jenny (Keith) Miller and Vicki (Blaine) Warmbein; numerous grandchildren; and brother, John (Janet) Geary. Emily was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Frances Geary; children, Patrick Miller and Cheryl Miller; grandson Ricky Halliday; son-in-law Rick Halliday; and brother Joseph Geary.
