I remember Donna as a very nice lady whom was my boss at LECO. I worked with her in high school through the co-op program during my senior year 92-93. My condolences go out to your family.

Phil, I am extremely saddened by the passing of Donna. Unfortunately, I was out of town with my family during the week of March 18th. I found out late on Friday 3-22-02 via a phone call from my mother. I am sorry I could not make visitation or Soul transition. Please accept my families thoughts and prayers. Respectfully, Rob Lewis Monday 3-25-02 12:53 pm est

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Phil, during the brief time that we shared in our studio, we realized why so many people have treasured all that Donna's gift to life has been. She touched many with her kindness and that will continue to spread. God be with you. Penny and Dan Brant

Dear Dick and Rene, We wish there were words to express to you our feelings on the loss of Donna. But words cannot substitude any of your feelings. Just know that we care. Donna's memory will live on in our family because our only grandson's name is also "Dawson" and he was named after YOUR grandson. Clare's daughter, Marni Crowder, worked at Visible Changes and knew Donna and her son Dawson. She loved him and his name so much that she and her husband Phil named their own son Dawson also. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

I really enjoyed working with Donna through ASQ and when she worked at the Cancer Services Biking Fundraiser. Donna was a very talented person. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Phil and Dawson, We were so sorry to learn of Donna's death in the newspaper last night. What a courageous woman she was in her fight against cancer and what a terrific family she had in you and Dawson. I know how much joy you both brought to her life. I'll never forget meeting Donna for the first time at AUSCO Products as a student. I remember when she was pregnant with Dawson and how excited and happy she was. I'll always remember the conversation we had about Brookview and I was so happy when you enrolled Dawson so we could get to know all of you better. What a professional woman she was as well. She was an excellent instructor for LMC and a big supporter of our quality programs with the ASQ. It was an honor to work with her on this level as well. So often when I ran into Donna at Brookview we talked of her illness. She always had such a positive attitude. I drew strength from her on so many occasions. I'm so happy to know that she embraced her life to the fullest. She had a passion for what she believed in and it showed. How blessed Dawson was to have such a wonderful Mother for six years. I was blessed to have her as a friend and colleague. The world was blessed by her talents in so many ways, too. Her memory will not be forgotten and her legacy will continue on through Dawson now and all of the wonderful gifts she's given him. Take comfort in the wonderful memories and please know we treasure your friendship and will keep you in our prayers. Warmly, Peg & Dustin

Phil, I read in the newspaper of Donna?s death and want to extend my sympathy. I was so shocked and sorry to read about it. I wasn?t aware she was struggling with cancer, and I can?t imagine the struggle you?re going through, now. When thinking about the stories you told me of your adventures together, I know that she lived more in her 43 years than most people do in long life, and you helped give that exciting life to her. Along with your grief, now, I know you have many wonderful memories of your life together and I?m sure that will help sustain you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Carol Blumenberg
