I met Lynn at OSU the first day/week? of our Freshman year. We lived next door to each other in the dorm. Our little group of friends has stayed strong ever since, sharing in the good times and the bad. There were lots of fun times: weddings, births, loss of loved ones, etc. that we shared. Lynn was such a "rock" in that group. It was so fun getting to come out and visit her a couple of times in the last few years. She managed to make the visits we had very special, in spite of being in the midst of cancer treatment, etc. Our last trip was for Lisa and Steve's wedding and it was such a wonderful time. Even though she was celebrating her daughter's wedding, she managed to "hang out" with Debi, Nancy, Ann, and I. She navigated her lung cancer diagnosis with such strength. It is very hard to imagine the world without Lynn.

I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with Lynn for a short time at JR. She was such a wonderful, caring person, and it was a pleasure to have been a part of her world. My condolences to your family.

Dear family, I met Lynn and only knew her for a brief time when she and her daughter came into Dr. P's office, where I worked. I grew to love them both more and more each time they came in. The bond that these two shared was wonderful. And the smiles...Lynn was always smiling, even when she wasn't feeling great. I ended up moving on to a different job and now I am so heartbroken to hear of her passing. Even though I didn't know Lynn for very long, her kind and loving heart made such an impression on me that even though many years have passed, I still think of her fondly. I hope that your family cherishes the memories you shared together and that Lynn's kindness lives on in both her children and grandchildren. Sending you all my love and strength during this very difficult time. Warmly, Mandi Cook

Our hearts at JR go out to you. Lynn was a force of nature - hard working, strong willed, determined and proud. She loved you all so very much. I will always respect and cherish knowing her and want you to know my famly's thoughts and prayers are with you and the grandchildren she adored so much. Fondly, Jackie Huie
