Terry's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Terry here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
My wife Kathleen an myself first met Terry and Jan in the early 70s while living in Woodridge and they have been close friends since. We admired Terry for his fairness and compassion that he displayed to all who he came in contact with. his ability to understand and explain the complexities of day to day events as it relates to the political intrigues of today. We enjoyed his talking about his adventures riding bikes in Europe love of canoeing and camping, his foot locker that he brought along while camping was filled with all the items to make camping more comfortable, Bosco at night around the campfire, fried spam in the morning completed the experience. Our condolences to you Jan and your family . Terry will be remembered for all that we shared. Love to you, Kathleen and George

Dear Jan and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss of Terry. I have fond memories of the times we got together at the house on Oak Park. I know that Terry is in a good place now and I hope you find comfort in that during the difficult times. I have you in my thoughts and am including all of you in prayers.
Sincerely,
Your cousin, Dick Soenen

We are thinking of all of you, Aunt Jan especially during this very difficult time. “Uncle” Terry could tell one heck of a story, we loved his heart, his great gruff laugh and dry sense of humor, his ability to make anyone feel welcome & all the memories we shared with the entire Soenen family throughout decades at the Lake. We love you all, and will miss Terry greatly. We are so sorry. The Scherman (Kristin Burkle) Family Mike, Kristin, Tyler & Brynleigh
