To all Ed's Family,
Our sympathy is with all of you. Bernice Dehring, our mother/mother-in-law, worked for Ed and with Joan for many years and had many good stories to tell of their time together! He cared deeply for his family and his business, including the workers. May you all be blessed by God's peace and comfort.
Sincerely,
Jere and Jeannie Dehring

I first met this wonderful man when I was 5, some 70 years ago. It was Christmas and I had Chicken pox. Ed brought me my first Story book doll. She had a beautiful long dusty blue dress with multi colored circles on it an she had a big floppy hat I will never forget that doll and that wonderful young man my cousin Joan was dating. What a guy! He has been in our family and hearts for many many years and will truly be missed. God's blessings yo my Cousin Joan and their 3 wonderful sons and their families. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕

Joan, Jack, Eric and Craig,
I was so saddened to hear about Ed’s passing. He was such a great guy and whether it was the auto dealership or the golf course, I always had fun talking to him.
Ed seemed larger than life and he will always be
“Big Ed” to me.

May God's peace comfort you;
may His promise of heaven give you joy;
may His Word uphold you in your grief. Phyllis and I have so many wonderful memories of your family. What a blessing Ed was to Immanuel and the community in the 70's. We treasure our continued friendship staying in touch with Jack & Teresa.

Joan, Jack, Craig and Eric,
Such sad news. Ed was such a fine person, caring, friendly, and honest. Oh, and a sense of humor I dearly loved and appreciated. I will share a story that sums up all that Ed was; friend, great businessman, and one who appreciated the unusual. I must have mentioned something to Ed at Rotary or maybe at the store (we bought many cars from Seimans over the years,) but one morning I looked out to find a new van in my yard. Small investigation showed it was from Seimans. Ed dropped it off at my house for my testing. We didn’t buy the van, but, as I said, we bought may other cars from Seimans over the years. I always remembered that as a brilliant marketing move that showed trust, confidence, and ingenuity. That was Ed. He didn’t sell cars, he just dealt with people at their own level. Never judgmental, never overbearing or pushy. Just a nice guy with a car store. It is little wonder he was successful. Our condolences. We will all miss him.

In 1976 we bought our first Ford from Ed. We came to the dealership with our fluffy white dog. We enjoyed working with him so much we bought several more vehicles from Ed. Anytime we have stopped in, Ed would still ask about our dog, who has been gone for the last forty years. Will miss you Ed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of Ed. He was such a larger than life presence in Bridgman. He always had a smile on his face and joked with everyone he saw. We were privileged to have known him through his three sons and of course through the Dealership where we have bought all of our cars! He always was happy to greet you and shake your hand making you feel welcome. He was so proud of his family and loved life! He will be missed by so many. Gods blessing Mr. Siemans. I had the privilege of working for Ed thirteen years. As I honed my skills under his wing, Ed always had kind words and thoughtful advice. Ed was fair and forgiving. Most of all, Ed loved his family and God. Most mornings Ed made it a point walk through his shop and greet everyone with "Good morning men". Those words were appreciated and earned my respect. Ed was also a man of his word, with a handshake one knew he would follow through. The world will not be the same without him. He will be truly missed.
