I remember Jeanne!! Such a nice woman. Her mom, Helen Meachum, rented part of my mom and dads old home on Morrison Avenue. Jeanne would keep in touch with my mom and whenever I saw her she was always so sweet! I’m sure she will he missed. God be with the family .. you lost a beautiful lady and Heaven gained an angel

How well I remember my Daddy coming home from town, fighting back tears (men did not cry back then!), telling mother, "Germany died!" Henry "Germany" Meachum owned the Livery Stable in Hartford, and my father shared his love of horses. I was not yet in school, so twins, Henry James and Helen Jeanne, lost their father when very young. Our families remained friends, and I was honored to sing at the wedding of Jeanne and Ben. She then became a farm wife, and I commended her for becoming a successful real estate agent. Always enjoyed seeing both of them at various family/friend events over the years. Reminded of these good times upon seeing the obits of Jeanne and her cousin, Bill Foster, adjacent in the paper. Thoughts and prayers to her dear family.

To Pam and Mark and the rest of the family, sorry for your loss. I will miss you dearly Jeanne. I will always have the wonderful memories we had going to Culver's for the strawberry shakes and than we would switch it off to Dairy Queen for their sundaes, we were ice cream queens. You always amazed me with your decorating skills, you loved every holiday and thanks to you, your spirit has encouraged me to do the same to my home. RIP May God Be With You Always

I WAS SUPRISED & SADDENED TO HEAR OF JEANIE'S PASSING. I WORKED WITH JEANIE FOR YEARS IN THE REAL ESTATE
PROFESSION. WE SHARED MANY GOOD TIMES, AND IT WAS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY. MAY SHE REST IN
PEACE ON HER JOURNEY TO A NEW LAND. SHE WAS SOMEONE WHO WAS EASY TO KNOW, AND WILL NEVER FORGET.
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO HER FAMILY AT THIS TIME. (SUE DICKERSON WILLIAMS).

To the family, so sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. Back in 1990 she sold us our house, down the street from her own. I would run into her periodically and she always remembered us, was always very friendly and always had a smile. I also, as it turns out, worked with her sister-inlaw Patsy for years. Such a small world and a world that was much better because of Jeanne and people like her. Jeanne will live on in the hearts and cherished memories of all whose lives she touched. RIP dear lady, fly with the angels.
