We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Charles here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
LeGran & Deborah Bloomstine and the rest of Charlie Wright's family. May the Great God of Comfort, Jehovah be with you during this time of extreme grief. We know that Charlie wholeheartedly believed in the resurrection, yet it still pains those of us alive at his umtimely death. We wall look forward to the fulfillment of the scripture at Revelation 21:3, 4 which reads: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” What a grand time that will be when we welcome Charlie back! Ty & Carolyn Wallace

To all who knew and loved CJ. I remember interpreting for him in NJ when he signed he needed the restroom. I led him to the reat of the auditorium and started down the stairs to the restroom in the basement. He pulled up on my arm and told me wrong way, follow me, so I took his arm and he took me to a first floor HC restroom I never had noticed before. When I opend the door for him the lights were out so of course I turned them on and then really felt stupid. The blind and deaf leading the sighted and hearing really humbled me. We had so many wonderful laughs together, we will never forget his humor and love for the truth. Jehovah will give him back to us and can't wait for that day. Dan and Laurie Ridenour

Our dear brother CJ... We will miss his wonderful presence at our conventions. He was the first deaf blind person my husband ever met. We saw him signing to himself from the balcony, and Alex went to say Hello and ask why he was signing. CJ explained that he was reviewing the points from the convention to guard his mind from sad or negative thoughts. They shared a tear together. We will never forget his inspiring example.

Charlie was a true gentleman! When he started studying the Bible we saw some amazing changes in him. He became truly happy. When he was taken into Legrand and Susan’s home he became truly loved. We will always have a special memory of Charlie trying to voice my name by saying “Lil lil lil lil lil lil.” Every time he would say that it brought us big smiles and a big hug from Charlie. He will be greatly missed by all of us. We know he was very special to you, Legrand and Debbie. You made him part of your family. Thank you for taking such good care of him. Jehovah loves you both very much for this. We know Jehovah also will not forget Charlie's faithful works and the love he had for Him. (Hebrews 6:10) What a wonderful future we await when we can see Charlie again and he will actually see us too. We love you. David and Lilian Del Grande

I’m so hurtful at the death of Charles. I’m sorry I don’t really know him so well. Susan Bloomstine adopted Charles Wright and Susan is a special to him. Susan and Legrand were accepted to keep him a very special gentleman. It's very wonderful life…… FOR SURE Charles will open eyes and a scream of Joyful he will meet all of you and a lot of hugs and kisses to YOU. Number one of my favorite scripture is REVELATION 21:4 “Jehovah will wipe out every tear from Charles and Susan eyes". We send our LOVE to you both and pray JEHOVAH will bless them….

I can still see Brother Wright standing up in our Cong. with Sister Bloomstine signing into his hands, him being both blind and deaf. Occasionally in a Watchtower Study he would stand up and start signing, usually quoting a scripture, but often giving his own thoughts on the lesson. He was an inspiration to all of us by keeping busy in his life despite his handicaps. I hope to see you in Paradise Brother.

We are so sorry for the loss of Charlie. He will be missed. He was such a zealous person and loved Jehovah so much. Always there to love and help someone if he could. Soon we will see him again, and he can actually see and hear us. We look forward to that day. We loved him very much.
