My heart goes out to all family members. Such a beautiful person as Greg to have life cut short. We had many, many great times in school and greater times on the weekends. Greg was such a fun loving, caring human. A truly individual of his own. I will miss him as all his other friends from this day forward. Thoughts and prayers to the family of my dear friend of many years ago will be with you forever. God Bless Greg

The old saying "only the good die young" is surely appropriate in this case. I have known Greg for as long as I can remember, at least 35 years. I practically grew up across the street from him and his family when they lived across from my aunt and uncle. I was fortunate enough to ride side-by-side with him a few times in my younger and wilder days. I always looked up to Greg as a man that walked to the beat of his own drum, which I dearly admired him for. He was recently at our home for dinner and a bonfire. I told him that evening that I enjoyed his company and wished I saw him more often because he reminded me a lot of my dad who also thought very highly of Greg. In my life, I can honestly say I have known very few people that I have never heard speak badly of others; Greg is one of those few. I doubt he had a mean bone in his entire body or a single enemy in this world. He always had a firm or gentle handshake and a hug along with a kind word and innate advice for those in need of his wisdom. He seemed to have the ability to just know when someone needed a kind touch or word. He was a very charismatic and down to earth gentleman who spoke the truth in love and was always willing to lend a helping-hand to anyone who asked. He was an extremely wise man who's warm presence was a blessing to those who knew and loved him. A very powerful life force that will be missed deeply by myself, my family, the community and countless other people who were blessed by his acquaintance during their life journey. Thoughts and prayers to his family and everyone that loved and admired Mr Greg Webb. Until we meet again on that Celestial highway, Ride In Peace, my brother.

The greatest thing about my cousin Greg was he was always true to himself and others. There was nothing false about him. He had the courage to be himself no matter how others may have judged him. I have so many fond memories growing up with Billy, Linda and Greg. They were my second family. My heart aches for him, but I know he is having a wonderful reunion with all his people. He is the greatest.

Although we hadn't spent much time together as adults we surely enjoyed being young together. Greg's mom Jackie and my mom were friends. Jackie worked at Foodtown with my mom and stepdad in the late 50's and early 60's. There was quite a cast of characters coming and going from Foodtown. Among them was famly from Arkansas and the dad was aptly named Arkie. There were two daughters and a son and the family came went from the store often. The son, Glenn Daniel, was a special needs child that was learning to "make pallets" in Lawrence. Greg, always an individual with a big heart, befriended this young man. Whenever Greg came around Glenn's eyes brightened and his smile grew. Unfortunately, Glenn Daniel couldn't pronounce "Greg" all he could manage was "Gerb." So each time I would greet Greg in all the years that followed (and they were many) I called him "Gerb." I tell that story to illustrate Greg's huge and loving heart and his wonderful sense of humor. There wasn't a time that we ran into each other that I didn't walk away smiling. The world was a better place for his presence. My condolences to Mary, Russel and Gerald and their extended families. He was proud of you. RIP "Gerb." You will be missed. Harry and Collen Kohn

Greg was a classmate of mine at L.C. Mohr, Class of 1968. Many happy memories of growing up with him and seeing him around school. Always a smile and a kind word for everyone he came in contact with. And now that our 1958 Rams have been getting together annually in South Haven each July, it was an even better opportunity to get back in touch with classmates like Greg on an annual basis to "check in" and see how everyone was doing. Greg's family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My classmates and I are deeply saddened that we won't have a chance to sit and chat with him this summer, but....we have so many good memories of him and his gentle nature that time will not erase. Rest in peace good friend. Dean

I can’t possibly put into words our deepest sorrow to Greg’s family and all of his many, many friends. Our hearts hurt over the loss of a such a “Good ‘ol Guy”. His smile was contagious and I sit here with a big smile on my face just thinking about his silly laugh! No matter where we were, Greg was there. And I know he will still be there, he will be in our hearts forever. May the memories give you strength through this difficult time. He will be dearly missed………

Mary, Russell and Gerald - I'm deeply saddened to hear about Greg. He was such a great friend and teammate. We bowled together for several years at Broadway Lanes. He was also one of our group along with Rob, Doug and Wendy Meyer, Doug Kelly, Mark Seiler, Mike Wagner and the rest. We all had so much fun together at parties and also riding our Harleys. Many nights we'd ride and I'd turn off to go home and I could hear his drag pipes crossing over the M-43 overpass. As others have said his smile and personality always made you feel special and he didn the same for me.

To the family & friends of Greg: We are so sorry for this loss of exciting life. It was always a pleasure to see Greg "out and about." He was a "staple" in South Haven and surrounding communities. I very much enjoyed our conversations while hanging-out at different establishments. His grin, his laugh, his personality--his congenial way will be missed by many! He will be forever "cool."

The other night I was at the stop light at Blue-star and Phoniex, I saw a man pushing a car through the light to the Marathon Station. It did not surprise me at all that that man was Greg. It made me smile, I thought to myself, good old Greg, always helping out. I have many good memories of our families when I was younger and my heart is very heavy to know that I will not run into him anymore. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, Gerald and Russell. Our little town has lost a wonderful man.

Dear Mary, Russell and Gerald, Please accept my heartfelt sympathies during this terrible time of loss. I am almost without words. I have, and will always hold the many great great memories I have of good times shared together dear to my heart. I have spent alot of time recounting them over the past week. They were always filled with laughter. Greg's ability to bring a smile or laughter to someone's life was perhaps his greatest gift.Whenever we would run into each other, he had a big hug for me, we would laugh and catch up on each other's life, and I would walk away feeling truly loved and appreciated, honored to be his friend. The most amazing thing about that is that there are countless people who he made feel the same way. Greg had a passion for life that few of us will ever have, and inspires me cherish mine and those in it even more. May God provide you peace and strength in this difficult time, and may the love of friends and family surround you with comfort. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Always, Ben Behrman

I am getting this information way after the date of passing. I am very sorry for the loss of a very special person. I have not known Greg but for only a few years. I live in Austin Tx and would see Greg at least 1 to 2 times a year, or at least every time I came to visit family in Stevensville. I met Greg one evening at the Idler in South Haven. We hit it off right away. I had intoduced myself to him because he was wearing a shirt of a rare motorcycle named (Ridley) he an I each happen to own 2. That started the conversation. From that point we knew we had a lot in common and we became good friends. ( A VERY SAD LOSS FOR ALL OF US )
