Lynne Marie Carroll

Lynne Marie Carroll, 46, of Traverse City, formerly of Seattle, Washington, died Sunday, January 22 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born May 18, 1965 in Pontiac, Michigan to John and Peggy L. (Bauervic) Carroll. She graduated from Marian High School in Birmingham, Class of 1983. Lynne graduated from Southern Methodist University with her Bachelors degree and the University of Phoenix with her Masters. Lynne worked in the banking industry. She enjoyed cooking, pets, especially her dog Buddy, gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed skiing and was very artistic.

She is preceded in death by her father – John Carroll who died in 2011.

She is survived by her mother – Peggy (Chuck) Maitland of South Haven, Michigan. One brother – Jeffery Carroll of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and one sister – Jane (Jose) Peruyero of Ridgewood, New Jersey. Two nephews – Joseph and Nicholas Peruyero. Four Aunts – Mary Lee Schlack and Sheilia Sherwin both of Traverse City, Michigan, Patricia Leonard of Suttons Bay, Michigan, and Beverly Paisley of Indian River, Michigan. Great aunt – Lee Jushaz of Dyer, Indiana. Many cousins also survive.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26 from 5 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Basil Catholic Church with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to South Haven’s Hospice at Home, 05055 Blue Star Highway, South Haven, MI 49090.
