Don was quite a person: Quietly dignified, hard-working and self-sufficient. A good man in every way. He was a gentle and loving man. He was a lot of fun, too. I liked teasing him about his Chicago teams. We were all blessed to have known and loved him. I'll miss him very, very much.

Our sincere condolences in this time of grief and remembrance. My mother passed last January. I definetely feel your loss. Don's family in Ireland who have known him and loved him for many years will miss him always. Zachary (16), Jonathan (14), Sammy (13), Jessica (10) and of course Emily and David Diebold. Sorry to read about don. We played baseball together for 4 years at South Haven High before Don joined the Marines and I joind the army in our senior year.
