Jack Edwin's Obituary
Jack Edwin Villwock. 84, of South Haven died Thursday, January 6 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born August 6, 1926 in South Haven, Michigan to Edwin and Gladys (Fowler) Villwock. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jack worked for Compton Construction as an excavator for 20 years. He also owned and operated a vintage junkyard in Casco Township for over 30 years. Jack loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting in the Upper Peninsula. Jack was the star of the dirt track with his stock car #10 racing in Hartford and Kalamazoo.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his former wife – Arlene Villwock. Brother – Roger Villwock and sister – Carol Sheputis.
He is survived by his children – Jerry Villwock and Dawn (Bill) Schmidt both of South Haven, Michigan and Rex Wright of Tampa Bay, Florida. Three grandchildren – Trevor and Audrey Schmidt and Keith Wright. Three sisters – Jean Villwock of Washington, Shirley (AB) Covey of South Haven and Joyce Rediess of Kentucky. One brother – Kenneth Villwock of California also survives.
