Joan's Obituary
Joan Johnson, age 68 of Grand Junction, Michigan died unexpectedly Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Borgess Medical Center.
Joan was born on March 7, 1942. She was the daughter of Irvin and Lillian (Andrews) Hunsberger. Joan is survived by her husband, Lonny Johnson whom she married April 30, 1964. Her two children, Dixie (Kurt) Kovach and Don Boerman, two grandchildren, Brooke and Spencer Boerman, a sister Pat (Harold) Koning and several sister-in laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Robert, Jack, Ron, and Tom Hunsberger and a sister Izola Meyers.
Joan enjoyed her antiques and refinishing furniture, and she dearly loved her grandchildren.
A memorial luncheon will be at the Bloomingdale Conservation Club on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to the Gobles United Methodist Church – Food Bank, 210 E.
