My sincerest sympathy to Lonny and the entire family. I have so many memories of Joan, my best friend for years. She valued family and friends abve all. She made room for those less fortunate too. You could count on her to always be there in difficult times The Christmas I was very ill, she decorated a tree with lights (because she knew that was my favorite part) to stand outside my window and cheer me on.A tree she got at a rummage sale with me that astonished me. It was a beat up Charlie Brown tree that you would think no one could fix but she did. She saw worth in things and people that nobody else could. She just knew the right thing to do. I remember the year she made a fantastic playhouse of boxes decorated with leftover wallpaper. I remeber all the trips on the golfcart to pick wildflowers and the magic she made of Queen Anne's Lace. WE will all miss her courage, thoughtfulness and creativity. Carole Mooy
