Neil Edward's Obituary
Niel Edward Tubbs, 52, of South Haven died April 23 at his home.
He was born April 13, 1958 in South Haven, Michigan to Ralph and Claudia (Meyer) Tubbs. Niel graduated from South Haven High School in 1976. He married Debra Janosky on July 9, 1983. Niel owned and operated Movie Haven in South Haven from 1983 to 1993. Niel enjoyed movies, hunting & fishing. Niel also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife – Debra Tubbs of South Haven, Michigan. One daughter – Melissa Tubbs (Glynn) Blanchard of South Haven, Michigan. Three grandchildren – David and Quinn Tubbs and Cole Blanchard. Parents – Ralph and Claudia Tubbs of Brooksville, Florida. Three brothers – Andy (Terri) Tubbs of Holland, Michigan, Brian Tubbs of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Steven Tubbs of South Haven, Michigan. Brother-in-law – David Janosky of Houston, Texas. Three nieces – Casie, Amanda and Bethany Tubbs and one nephew – Tyler Tubbs. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be from 2-3 on Friday, April 30 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home.
Memorial services will begin on Friday at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Linstrom and Rev. Raymond Bartels officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFh.com.
