Dear Aunt Mae,Terry, Tom, Tim & Tina: When I was at your house a few weeks ago, I was thinking how sweet it was that Uncle Len was referring to his wife as Aunty Mae when he was talking to me. He drove her to work while Carey and I stayed behind to hook up the washer. For some reason I really wanted Uncle Len to get back home before we left so we could say good bye. Now I know why that was so important to me. When it was time for us to leave, I said to Carey “I love Aunt Mae and Uncle Len so much” and he said “I do to”. I was thinking what a special couple they are and how I always love to visit with them. I have so many great memories of spending time at your house when I was growing up. I will always remember my Uncle Len as being such a kind & gentle person and I am going to miss him so much. I can just picture the smile on my dad’s face this afternoon when he was reunited with his special brother-in-law and I can find comfort in knowing where our loved ones are. My heart is aching for all of you. We were all so blessed to have had him in our lives. Love, Carey, Diane, Jake & Tyler

Dear Mae and family: We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our family enjoyed Lennie and his trains at the flywheelers when he would set up with Dave. Not to long ago Lennie and I talked about going this year and how much he was looking forward to it. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives. We will miss Lennie so much. God needed another angel and he sure has one. God Bless you all. Love Madeline

Dear Mae and family you are in my thoughts and prayers on this sad day. I know Lenny is in a better place now. No more pain. It is those of us left behind what are hurting today. Hurting because we lost one of the Greatest Generation and my best friend Lenny sure lived up to that. I talked to Lenny last night and we were planning our train set-up for the Flywheelers show in two weeks. I will always cherish our trips to ride trains in West Virgina,Pensylvania,Indiana and running them in the shop or back yard, we always had fun and a good laugh. He taught me so much nto only about trains but about life. God Bless you Lenny..Please Pray for us

My earliest memories are of the farm with Len, Ev, Harold, Bill, and Uncle Frank and Aunt Lillie. I can recall when Len and Mae got married; I have so many good memories of back then as well as newer ones. Len will always be a standard of the way to live for a Christian. Mae and kids, be comforted by Our Lord's promises, and remember this wonderful man with joy.

My grandparents Clarence and Vople Jones lived next door to Len and Mae the entire time I grew up in South Haven. There was never a visit where Len wasn't there with a ready smile and a warm handshake. Len and Mae are Godparents to my sister and it is with joy that I frequently recall Len and Mae to mind. My the Peace of God be with Len's entire family during this period of reflection and remembrance.

4Dear Tim, Carmen, Jessica & Erik, My heart goes out to you at this time. There is no preparation for the finality of death on earth. There is however God's grace that leads us through these difficult times. And in the days, weeks, months & years ahead the memories you have of all the things dad taught you and all the good times you shared as a family, will sustain you and you will feel he truly is not far away. Most important for me is the belief that our loved ones are with Christ and that we will see them again. God bless you all. Love, Sharon

Tim, Carmen, Jessica & Erik We are sorry for your loss, but we as Christians know that the wages of sin is death. We all expect to pass on one day and the only comforting and peaceful thought is that through salvation we will be united with the Lord in everlasting life. As you experience this time of sorrow reflect on the quality time that you had spent together and look forward to the one day that you may be united once again. God Bless Tom & Clema Jozwiak

Dear Tim, My sympathies for your loss. Finding appropriate words to bring comfort is so very difficult. Please find peace in knowing your father is with THEE Father. Also, recalling fond and humorous memories can be very healing. One of my fond memories of your dad would be the night he (and your mother) allowed us in to your bedroom to TP it! His comment was something like, "better the mess in his room than my yard." Peace my friend, Lynne
