Dennis, Dave, Kathy & Tim, I am tuly sorry for the loss of your mother. She was one of the nicest people I ever knew...never cross...always happy to get pictures of the kids...generous and kind and good. What more credit cold one ask for a mother? You can be rightly proud and cherish the many fond memories of her as I do. She will be in my prayers.

Dear Putman Family, Mike and I are sorrowful for your family at this very difficult time. A parent, grandparent, passing is such a sad time. We so enjoyed our time spent in Michigan at your Mom's home. Your mom was blessing to us and treated us like a part of your family. Peace be in your hearts, Mike and JoAn Grane

I have lost my dearest friend - so sweet, so gentle, so wise - an inspiration to all of us who had the privilege to know and love her. She taught us how to be a wife and how to be a mother and how to make cookies, pies and toffee. I will cherish her candy thermometer, a well-worn bridge book of Bob's and her magnificent dried hydrangeas. Early this spring, Donna and I had the opportunity to give each other a new experience - I took her to Wendy's for the first time. She loved the Chilli! She took me to the Fifties Drive-In. I loved the burgers! We shared so much in our times together - lunches out and shopping at the Farmer's Market were favorites. Most of all we shared love for our families. Donna's love and devotion to Bob was beautiful - truly livng her marriage vows. My heart aches for whom we have lost, but rejoices for whom we have loved.

Donna was a rare and wonderful woman who will be remembered fondly for her kindness and those fine chocolate chip cookies, by this college kid who is all grown up now.

I was so sorry to hear about your mom and was unable to attend the visitation. Your parents were such a positive force in my teenage years. Working at the hardware store during highschool, I was taught good work ethics and many lessons that have stayed with me my entire life. These lessons were taught by two people who both had a great sense of humor and love for their work, community and family. Your loss is great and I will be including you in my prayers.

Your mother was one of our very favorite people and a good friend. She always brightened our Saturdays when she and Kathy came in to visit and shop. We will all miss her sweet nature and dry sense of humor. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time and we send you our love.

Donna was great lady and my son will never forget her. Leif has pleasant memories of a lady that showed him great love in his early years. His memories at the home of Keith and Joyce's home for his first 5 years meant a lot to him and Donna was present. I know you will miss her, god bless her. Sue Kiefer

To the Putman families, Though I didn't know Donna myself I have felt connected to her and your family through my mother's eyes. When coming to So. Haven for weekend visits it is not uncommon to get an update of the Putman's! My mom has always spoken so highly of all of you and will greatly miss her time with your mother as I know is also true for all of you. May you find peace in her passing and with time.
